Mid red in colour. Toasty oak, blueberry/peppery fruit and smooth tannins with a freshness on the finish. In the late 18th Century, there were, apparently, 19 crimes where instead of being sentenced to death, British convicts were transported to Australia. Many of the lawless died at sea. Those who made it forged new lives in a new country. The 19 Crimes brand celebrates this episode in Australian history
