Bouchard Aine & Fils Chablis 2022
Tasting Notes
Bright straw in colour. Apples, citrus, minerally fruit with a whiff of smokiness. Elegant, fresh and very balanced. Unoaked, unplugged Chardonnay at its most pristine and pure. Excellent on its own and outstanding with food. The House of Bouchard Aine & Fils traces its roots some 300 years ago when in 1731 Michel Bouchard settled in Burgundy to set up a flourishing enterprise in the fabric trade and later branched out to become a wine broker. It was his eldest son Joseph who in 1750 formally registered the company which name we know today. Today, the public can visit, tour and taste the cellars and wines of this venerable house in the very heart of Burgundy at 4 Boulevard Marechal Foch, 21200 Beaune
