Mid red colour. Ripe, elegant cherry fruit with light cedary notes. The smooth tannins add to the delicious freshness on the finish. During the reign of Alfonso XIII, Ederra was chosen for daily consumption at the Royal Palace and the winery was awarded the title “Supplier of the Royal Household and Heritage” which crest it wears proudly on the label. Ederra is owned by Codorniu (founded in 1551), one of the oldest companies in Spain and one of the oldest wineries in the world

Enjoyable on its own and delicious with stir-fried and roast pork and chicken dishes (Tandoori too). Beef and steak. And braised and roast duck, and lamb dishes. Pairs very well also with braised doufu and mushroom dishes
