Tasting Notes

Bright mid red colour. Plums, prunes, and oak on the palate as this Rioja Reserva was aged at least 12 months in American oak. During the reign of Alfonso XIII, Ederra was chosen for daily consumption at the Royal Palace and the winery was awarded the title “Supplier of the Royal Household and Heritage” which crest it wears proudly on the label. Ederra is owned by Codorniu (founded in 1551), one of the oldest companies in Spain and one of the oldest wineries in the world
