Blackberry fruit and oaky notes compete for our attention as this Spanish Rioja has been aged 24 months in American barrels. Tempranillo is the majority grape with Graciano making up no more than 10% of the final blend. Some of the vines were planted in the 1970s. Marques de Riscal was founded in 1858.
