Val de L’Ours Chardonnay 2022
S$36.33
Tasting Notes
Whiff of vanilla and honey dew melons. This medium-bodied Chardonnay is round, creamy in texture and nicely balanced. The wine comes from a 167-hectare vineyard in the Languedoc called Domaine d’Aussieres. Once occupied by the Romans, the first official records of Aussieres date back to 97 A.D. and attest to it being an important supplier of wine to Rome almost two thousand years ago. The estate in the South of France was acquired in 1999 by the Rothschild Family of Bordeaux’s Chateau Lafite
